For every crime is atonement, but to what end? Should each of us remove the plank from own eye before twisting deeper the splinter of our neighbour? Or perhaps our moral superiority is simply the justification we use for sweeping the problem under the rug. Lock them away, in western Gulags. The buggers, bigamists, murderers, and addicts. And for the worst among them there is a man to solve the problem forever, and snuff out every last bit of their indecent urges and degenerated character.

The debut album by Natural Orthodoxy. While a shorter run time than most EPs under the project's name, Legacies Of Rust is N.O.'s most complete work yet. The album encompasses elements from across the industrial spectrum, from relentless crunching power electronics to tense and creeping death industrial.

Legacies of Rust was recorded over a weekend in Autumn 2017 at HQ Studios (under the shadow of Strangeways Prison) by Joe 'No Studio' Clayton, making this the first studio recording for Natural Orthodoxy. This has finally allowed the project the volume and blunt force required to truly confront and engage the listener.

Legacies of Rust will be available from PHAGE TAPES as a limited release in December 2017.

I cannot praise this album enough. This album is absolutely terrifying! The many starts and stops creates this very h settling tension. Each start expands on the stopper idea previously. It’s like the music equivalent of walking through thick fog while passing out multiple times throughout trying to find a place to orientate yourself. There may or may not be something sinister in that fog, but you don’t want to stick around to find out. Bought the vinyl so I summon the fog demons through spe showhornwithteeth
