UVB-76 offers a more restrained piece for this collaboration with Glasgow-based writer Elaine Van Den Bergh.
'Ballet Dancer' takes influence from such contemporary artists as Cremation Lily and Puce Mary. Field recordings and lurching stabs of percussion accompany aggressive vocals in the track's opening moments, before falling into drifting melody to highlight EVDB's spoken word.
'Pissing Rain' sees a trudging loop disintegrate into chaotic feedback, accompanied by ritualistic chimes reminiscent of Les Legions Noires' dark ambient contingent. EVDB's spoken word here acts as another instrument, providing a haunting spectral presence for its portion of the track.
This collaboration will be made available as a limited self-released cassette tape soon.
